Man dies of heart attack during yoga class in Surat
A man in Surat died of a heart attack while taking part in a yoga and aerobics class at the Gajanand Aerobics and Yoga Group. Mukeshbhai Mendpara had joined the class, which was being held at Harekrishna Party Plot in Kiran Chowk, on the day of the Holi holiday. Mendpara, who supported his family by working in a diamond factory, suffered chest pain while learning yoga and was being taken to the Diamond Hospital for treatment when he had a severe heart attack and died.
Mendpara's wife, Payalben Mendpara, teaches aerobics at the club and the couple had come to the class together. They have a daughter and son, both of whom are college students. The sudden death of Mukeshbhai Mendpara has left the family devastated.
The Gajanand Aerobics and Yoga Group has been offering free yoga and aerobics classes for several years. Bharatbhai Khunt, who runs the club, expressed his condolences to the family and said that the club was shocked by Mendpara's death. The incident has raised concerns about the importance of being aware of heart health and seeking medical attention if experiencing chest pain or discomfort during physical activity.
