Ganesh Visarjan Yatra in Surat Proceeds Peacefully with Enhanced Security Measures

SURAT – This morning witnessed the peaceful commencement of the Ganesh Visarjan Yatra in Surat. Devotees, filled with fervor, joined the procession, moving rhythmically to the beat of drums. The local police, anticipating large crowds, put extensive security measures in place to prevent any mishaps.
BJP state president C.R. Patil, Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi, and Mayor Dakshesh Mavani were seen actively monitoring the immersion process and the yatra's progress. Their presence was felt across various parts of the procession route, as they gathered firsthand information about the precautions taken by the police.
During his tour, Minister Harsh Sanghvi interacted with the people, extending his well wishes and ensuring the safety measures were effectively implemented. He highlighted that technological advancements, such as 3D mapping, GPS, and drone cameras, previously used during the Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra, were also employed for the Ganesh Visarjan Yatra. Special attention was given to sensitive areas to prevent traffic congestions and other potential disturbances.
Minister Sanghvi proudly stated that the Ganesh Visarjan Yatra was unfolding peacefully across the entire state. He mentioned the communal harmony and amicable atmosphere in which residents celebrated the ten-day Ganesh Utsav and the ongoing Disruption Yatra.
Echoing similar sentiments, C.R. Patil expressed his wishes for all devotees to continue the yatra in a harmonious manner. He hoped that Lord Ganesha's blessings would be bestowed upon the state and the entire nation.
