Surat Celebrates Prime Minister Modi's Birthday with Jan Ashirwad Sammelan

Surat City's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hosted a grand celebration to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, organizing the Jan Ashirwad Sammelan at the indoor stadium situated on Ghod Dod Road, Surat. The event saw Gujarat BJP State President, C.R. Patil, extend warm wishes for a long and healthy life to the Prime Minister during the program.

This monumental gathering not only celebrated the Prime Minister's birthday but also became a platform to highlight the positive impacts of various governmental schemes initiated under his leadership. Patil informed that over 7,000 individuals have reaped the benefits from 180 different government schemes, with many of the beneficiaries present at the event. He emphasized that efforts are constantly underway to ensure the populace derives maximum benefit from such programs.

The Sammelan brought together city MLAs, BJP officials, and numerous workers who collectively engaged in discussions regarding the developmental projects and beneficial public services introduced during Prime Minister Modi's tenure. Speaking to the media, Patil underscored the transformative nature of the schemes, including the substantial improvements in housing quality compared to those under the previous Indira Awas Yojana.

He lauded Prime Minister Modi's endeavors in realizing the dreams of small entrepreneurs and highlighted the substantial relief brought to families through the Ayushmaan card, which covers hospital bills up to 10 lakhs INR. This initiative, according to Patil, has significantly eased the burden on families, enabling them to seek necessary medical help without financial distress. Additionally, he mentioned the insurance provisions made for sudden death scenarios, extending a safety net to the families.

The festive occasion was more than a birthday celebration; it marked the initiation of a fifteen-day period dedicated to various public service activities, reinforcing the commitment to welfare and development. Prime Minister Modi used this auspicious day to launch the 'Vishwakarma Yojana', a significant announcement welcomed with appreciation at the gathering.

The Sammelan witnessed participation from over 7300 people, reflecting the substantial reach of governmental schemes under Modi’s administration. More than 100 programs have been slated across the state to facilitate assistance to the people, with activities planned throughout the day involving public service workers.

Distinguished attendees of the event included state government minister Mukeshbhai Patel, area vice president Mahendrabhai Patel, Surat city in-charge Shitalben Soni, city mayor Daksheshbhai Mavani, city BJP president Niranjan Jhanjhmera, and MLA Purneshbhai Modi among others. This gathering of eminent personalities attested to the collective drive towards fostering public welfare, ushering in a festive yet determined spirit to work towards a prosperous future.
