Ahmedabad : Tragic Road Accident Claims Life in Juhapura
Police register case against truck driver after a woman dies in a vehicular collision while returning from a grocery run
Agmedabad — A devastating road accident occurred in the Juhapura area, resulting in the death of a local woman, Ruksana Bano. According to police reports, Ruksana and her husband, Imtiaz Khan, were returning home on an Activa scooter after buying vegetables when they were hit by an Eicher truck. The collision resulted in Ruksana being thrown off the scooter and run over by the truck.
Imtiaz Khan, a resident of the Fatewadi Marg area, filed a police complaint detailing the tragedy. In the complaint, Khan mentioned that he is employed, while his late wife was engaged in odd jobs and sewing. The couple has two daughters, aged 17 and 13. The family's routine grocery run turned fatal around 10:00 a.m. when the accident occurred.
Ruksana Bano was seriously injured in the collision and was promptly rushed to the nearest hospital. Unfortunately, the medical staff declared her "brought dead," confirming that she succumbed to her injuries.
Subsequently, the police registered a case against the driver of the Eicher truck, initiating the process of his arrest. The police force is now actively working to apprehend the accused driver as part of their ongoing efforts to bring justice to families affected by fatal road accidents.
