'Sparkle International Gems and Jewelry Exhibition - 2023' Kicks Off in Surat

Surat is set to dazzle as the 'Sparkle International Gems and Jewelry Exhibition - 2023' commences at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Indoor Stadium, Athwalines. Organized by the South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) and South Gujarat Chamber Trade and Industry Development Center, the exhibition will run from the 25th to the 27th of August, 2023, between 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Chamber of Commerce President Ramesh Vaghasia highlighted that Sparkle aims to inspire the promotion and updating of jewelry brands, with the Chamber striving to elevate jewelry to a new dimension through this glamorous platform.

The exhibition promises an array of spectacular offerings, with jewelers set to display a splendid collection of silver artifacts. Key attractions include idols depicting the Ram Darbar, a 4-foot idol of Shrinathji, a statue of Shreeji, and a statue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. These sculptures are expected to draw significant attention, alongside displays of modern silver furniture, home decor, and silver gifts.

In anticipation of upcoming weddings and festivals like Janmashtami, Raksha Bandhan, and Diwali, Surat jewelers have crafted new designer jewelry necklaces, incorporating different design concepts and technical variations. Special attention has been given to wedding collections, offering both classic and fusion looks, with more than 600 soon-to-be-married couples from Surat and their families invited to the exhibition.

Following last year's success, this year's Sparkle Exhibition will again operate on a B2C basis, featuring around 30 jewelers from Surat, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Bikaner. They will display advanced decorative designer jewelry, showcasing innovative techniques and aesthetics, and enriching the city's cultural landscape for three gleaming days.
