Prostitution Discovered at a Spa in Surat, 9 Arrested

Surat police have arrested nine individuals, including six Thai girls, in a raid at a spa where prostitution was being conducted in the Pal Gaurav Path area of Bharti Residency. The spa manager, a customer, and six Thai girls were arrested, and cash, mobile phones, and other seized goods worth Rs. 75,400 were confiscated. The owner of the spa, Rahul Kamal Trivedi, a resident of Bhavnagar, has been declared wanted after the manager confessed during interrogation that Trivedi was the spa's owner.

The Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of the Surat Police received a tip-off and raided The Lauders Spa on the third floor of Bharti Residency, located across from Time Square Building in Pal Gaurav Path. The spa manager, Hardeep Singh Vijaysingh Wala, and Dhanraj Dadabhai Sonawane, along with a customer and six Thai girls, were arrested during the raid.

The manager, Hardeep Singh, confessed to charging customers Rs. 2,000 for body pleasure in the spa, of which he would give Rs. 1,000 to the Thai girls. Trivedi, the owner, has been declared wanted in connection with the crime. The police have registered a case against all those involved in the prostitution ring under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
