Surat: Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU), a prominent name in the academic sector, has provided a fresh lease of hope for MBA aspirants. Amid concerns over diminishing lucrative job offers for MBA graduates, the university's government MBA department has registered an impressive placement rate of 80% this year.
Out of this triumph, a standout success story is that of student Kaivan Shrikantbhai Madrasi. He secured an annual package of Rs 12 lakhs from a leading state fertilizer company, setting an example for his peers and elevating the department's reputation.
The MBA department at VNSGU, the sole government MBA institution in South Gujarat, has consistently set itself apart from its private counterparts. This year, of the 114 students who participated in campus placements, 83 secured direct job offers. Furthermore, 10 students chose to join their family businesses, pushing the placement rate to a commendable 80%.
Kaivan, who transitioned from BE Mechanical to MBA Finance at the university, expressed his gratitude towards the faculty for their invaluable guidance.
