VADODARA — A fatal assault has taken the life of BJP worker Sachin Thakkar in Vadodara. Residing in Sukriti Society of Vasna Road and operating a fabrication business, Thakkar had previously faced threats following a parking dispute 15 days prior to the tragic event.
On the evening of the 25th, Thakkar and his cousin Pritesh visited the Mirch Masala restaurant in the Race Course area. During their visit, they were confronted and violently attacked by Parth Babul Parikh and two of his associates. This was not the first time the duo faced aggression from these individuals. A similar altercation occurred just two weeks prior, over a parking issue, which had been reported to the Gotri Police.
Thakkar, gravely wounded from the assault, sadly passed away from his injuries. In the wake of this tragedy, Gotri police have detained Parth and his accomplices and are proceeding with the necessary legal actions. The case raises pressing concerns about timely police response and the safety of citizens.
