Surat - A recent incident in Surat has highlighted the need for parental caution when entrusting vehicles to minors. A video, showcasing a minor zigzagging dangerously on a moped on the Chandrashekhar Azad Bridge, has resulted in both the young rider and his father facing legal repercussions.
The video from Rander's Chandrashekhar Azad Bridge rapidly gained traction on social media. Its alarming content depicted the minor weaving perilously in and out of traffic, posing a clear danger to other road users.
In light of this reckless behavior, Rander police promptly arrested both the minor and the moped's owner, Zaheeruddin Hafizuddin Shaikh, who happens to be the minor's father. The vehicle was also confiscated. This incident serves as a cautionary tale, emphasizing the responsibilities parents bear when providing minors access to vehicles.
