In a bid to clamp down on unauthorized and potentially hazardous vehicular activity, Surat's Police Commissioner has issued directives for surprise vehicle inspections. The emphasis lies on identifying intoxicated drivers, vehicles without registration or with counterfeit plates, and reining in unruly elements.
