SURAT – The Federation of Surat Textile Traders Association (FOSTTA) is poised to embark on a new chapter following the overwhelming victory of the development panel in its recent elections. The first board meeting of the newly elected directors has been scheduled for Saturday, taking place in the STM boardroom.
This inaugural meeting, convened by the election committee, will see the attendance of all 41 newly selected directors. Crucially, the meeting will see the announcement of the President and General Secretary positions. Following these announcements, the election committee is expected to formally relinquish its duties by turning over all income from the sale of nomination papers, election expenses, and pertinent documents to the incoming office bearers.
Once the new leadership is in place, the stage will be set for a grand swearing-in ceremony to commemorate the formal assumption of office by the new executive. This event is scheduled to occur probably on Sunday, July 23rd, at the Chamber of Commerce Convention Center in Sarsana, marking a new era for FOSTTA and its members.
