IIJS Premiere 2023: The World's Second-Largest Gem & Jewelry Exhibition Goes Dual Venue in Mumbai

For the first time in its 39-year history, the India International Jewellery Show (IIJS) Premiere will be held at two different venues in Mumbai city - NESCO Goregaon and JIO World Convention Centre (JWCC). The event will take place from August 3 to 7, 2023, at JWCC and from August 4 to 8, 2023, at NESCO, and will bring together over 1850 exhibitors and 3250 stalls, making it the world's second-largest gem and jewelry exhibition.

The move highlights the growing importance of the gem and jewelry industry in both domestic and export trade in India. The event will witness the largest gathering of domestic and international buyers, and serve as a primary platform for Indian jewelry manufacturers to network with retailers and gain insight into product design and demand trends.

Nirav Bhansali, Convener, National Exhibitions, GJEPC, said, "This is an exciting step in the evolution of the show, and with the industry's support, I'm sure we'll make it a grand success!"

The event will offer frequent shuttle services between the two venues and will provide a single pass for entry to both venues to make buyers' visits seamless. The JIO World Convention Centre will feature more than 500 exhibitors, while the BEC Goregaon exhibition will showcase over 1350 exhibitors.

In addition to IIJS Premiere, the inaugural edition of IIJS Tritiya will take place from March 17 to 20, 2023, and is expected to attract over 12,000 visitors. The event will feature more than 800 exhibitors and over 1,500 stalls, showcasing a wide range of products.

The GJEPC will continue with its "One Earth" initiative, which aims to plant 100,000 trees this year. IIJS Premiere and Tritiya will also feature the Innov8 Talks, a knowledge exchange forum, featuring a range of topics including quality management, storytelling, and cybercrime.

Mr. Vipul Shah, Chairman, GJEPC, said, "IIJS Premiere show is a benchmark in itself. It is a must-attend event for maximizing business opportunities in the gem and jewelry global arena."
