In Rajkot, Gujarat, a video of a gangster and his friends openly flaunting liquor and dancing drunkenly has gone viral on social media. In the video, the groom is also seen being given a gun by one of his friends. The incident has once again raised concerns about the rampant sale of illegal liquor in the state. The incident took place during a wedding in Bhaktinagar police station area of Rajkot city.
As per media report, the viral video also shows the groom and his friends firing shots in the air during the wedding procession. Apart from this, other videos of the groom's friends dancing with open bottles of liquor have also surfaced on social media.
The Bhaktinagar police department has launched an investigation into the matter. The gangster seen in the video was reportedly released on parole for his brother's wedding. The incident has sparked a debate on the prohibition of liquor in Gujarat. Despite the state government's efforts to impose a ban on liquor, the sale of illegal liquor continues to be a major problem in the state.
