Gujarat police rescue eight youths from captivity in Myanmar

A 20-year-old man from Talala, Gujarat who fell victim to a job fraud was rescued by the police in Myanmar and brought back to India. The victim, Nirav Vadhupagar, had been hired by a Dubai-based company through an agent, but after realizing that the company was a fraud, he returned to India with eight other youths who had accompanied him, only to be arrested in a room in Yangon City, Myanmar.

The incident was reported by Nirav's father to the Talala police station, following which the police, under the guidance of Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Harsh Sanghvi and Superintendent of Police Shri Manohar Singh N. Jadeja, conducted an intensive investigation and were able to rescue Nirav and the other youths.

The police department's efforts were praised by Nirav's family, who expressed their gratitude to the government of India, the Gujarat government, and the police department for their role in reuniting Nirav with his family. The incident serves as a warning to job seekers to be cautious when accepting job offers from unknown sources and to thoroughly research the company before accepting any job offers.
