Surat. The Eye Vision Center, operated by the Pandesara Industrial Association located in Pandesara GIDC, is making remarkable contributions by providing quality and free eye care services to various sections of society.
Initiated under the inspiration of C.R. Patil, the Union Minister of Water Power, this center has proven to be a boon for thousands of people. Looking at the achievements of the Eye Vision Center, a total of 15,289 people have received free eye check-ups so far. Additionally, 5,807 people have been provided with ready-made reading glasses and 5,568 people have received free spectacles.
Furthermore, 1,033 patients have been referred to specialized centers for special treatment and further medical facilities. The most significant achievement of the center has been the successful and free cataract surgeries performed on 180 patients to date. Through these surgeries, many individuals have gained new vision, improving their quality of life.
This service, operated by the Pandesara Industrial Association, is making a significant contribution to the health sector, especially for workers in the industrial sector, their families, and local citizens. The organization believes that the guidance and inspiration of Union Minister C.R. Patil have played a crucial role in the success of this project. The association stated that efforts will continue to expand the scope of health programs related to public interest, reaching more and more people in the future.
