Gujarat Extends Deadline for 12th Grade Science Stream Supplementary Exam Applications
New date set for June 9 as Morbi district tops state results and Limkheda centre records lowest scores
In a crucial development for class 12 science stream students who have failed in one or two subjects, the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has extended the deadline for supplementary examination form submissions. Originally slated to close on June 5, the submission period has now been pushed to June 9.
Schools can now continue to submit supplementary examination forms online until the new date. This extension provides an additional opportunity for students who have not passed one or two subjects to sit for the supplementary examinations scheduled for July. This also applies to those who were absent for the original examinations.
This announcement comes after the Gujarat Board declared the class 12 science results. The overall pass rate stood at 65.58 percent. District-wise, Morbi district secured the top spot with a stellar pass rate of 83.22 percent, while Dahod district recorded the lowest pass rate.
Regarding individual examination centres, Halwar centre boasted the highest pass rate of 90.41 percent. On the other hand, Limkheda centre reported the lowest pass rate at a mere 22 percent. Notably, 27 schools across the state achieved a perfect pass rate of 100 percent, while 76 schools registered a pass rate below 10 percent.
