A special session focused on ethical values and social responsibility alongside wealth creation attracted the attention of industrialists and young investors on the second day of the 'Wealth Expo 2026' held in Surat. The session, organized by the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) and JITO Surat in Sarsana, featured Rajya Sabha MP and industrialist Govindbhai Dholakia and renowned mindset coach and author Rahul Kapoor Jain.
Both speakers conveyed the message for the industry to adopt a balanced and responsible approach while emphasizing the importance of ethics, humanity, and the right values in wealth creation. Mindset coach and author Rahul Kapoor Jain stated that individuals should ask themselves before every decision whether it is aligned with righteousness or not. He mentioned that the amount of wealth a person possesses depends on their actions and mindset.
He emphasized that honesty should be present not only in business but also in life, and industrialists should question whether their major decisions are connected to righteousness or not. He noted that large and successful companies can be built while staying within the bounds of ethics. He added that those who conduct business with righteousness and values are the ones who can truly sleep peacefully.
Rahul Kapoor Jain also advised the industrialists and investors present to positively challenge their thinking and working style for 100 days. Rajya Sabha MP and industrialist Govindbhai Dholakia, in his address, stated that merely earning money is not enough; it is also essential to understand where and how to use that money. He remarked that business without honesty, politics without principles, behavior without character, and education without values hold no value.
Explaining the difference between price and real value, he stated that while companies may be valued in crores on paper, real wealth is that which is utilized for the benefit of society and humanity. He clarified that in this context, righteousness refers to humanity and ethics. Sharing his business experience, Govindbhai Dholakia mentioned that businesses started in the name of God and with moral values achieve lasting success over time.
The special session saw a significant presence of industrialists and young investors, including many prominent industrialists and financial advisors from Surat. At the end of the program, the Chamber's Vice President Ashok Jirawala expressed gratitude to all the speakers and guests present, hoping that this session would help people understand the true meaning of 'real wealth.'
