Unique Display of 'Sister-Daughter Conference' in Bamanwali, Village Moved by Daughters Returning Home
The historic 'Sister-Daughter Conference' scheduled for May 9 and 10 in Bamanwali village of the Bikaner district is creating an atmosphere of excitement and emotion throughout the village. The streets are decorated to welcome daughters and sisters, and the joy of aunts and sisters returning home after many years is evident in their eyes.
The event is being organized in memory of the late Khetaram Ji and Gomati Devi by their sons Tolaram, Biruram, and Bhavanishankar Saraswat, along with the recitation of the Srimad Bhagwat Katha. The conclusion of the Srimad Bhagwat week will take place on May 9, while the two-day Sister-Daughter Conference will conclude on May 10 with gifts presented to all sisters and daughters as a mark of respect. The conference is showcasing a unique scene of warmth in relationships and belonging in the village.
When elderly aunts and sisters gathered in the courtyards after many years, many eyes became moist. Some reminisced about childhood memories, while others shared emotional moments recalling their parents and old days. Women dressed in colorful ghagras and traditional attire brought the village's folk culture to life.
Gatherings in homes are filled with old stories, folk songs, and laughter, transforming the atmosphere into a family celebration. Villagers say that the return of daughters has brought a new vibrancy to Bamanwali. According to them, this conference is not just a social event but a symbol of respect for those daughters and sisters who were born in this soil and have illuminated various families and societies today.
The gathering of grandmothers, mothers, daughters, and granddaughters at the conference presents a wonderful sight of generational convergence. Every home in the village is serving the same traditional affection and warmth that every daughter longs for. Sampat Saraswat, the founder and chief organizer of Eco Bharat, stated that this 'Sister-Daughter Conference' sends a message to society to stay connected with its roots and daughters.
He mentioned that every street and home in the village is eagerly awaiting the arrival of daughters. After the conference concludes, these sisters and daughters will leave with a treasure of memories and belonging that will emotionally connect them until the next meeting.
