Suman Schools of Surat Municipal Corporation achieve remarkable performance, 92.60% result in 10th board exams
This year, students from both private schools and municipal corporation-run schools have performed excellently in the Gujarat Board's 10th-grade examination in Surat. The Suman High Schools of Surat Municipal Corporation recorded an impressive result of 92.60% in the SSC board examination for the year 2025-26, establishing a strong identity in the education sector.
The Suman Schools, initiated by the Surat Municipal Corporation to provide quality secondary education to economically weaker and middle-class students, have proven to be a boon for thousands of students. Due to consistently better results and modern educational methods, parental trust in these schools is also increasing. In this year's declared results, Suman High School-13 (Dindoli) and Suman High School-18 (Punagam) achieved a 100% result, marking a special achievement.
Students studying in various Suman Schools under the municipal corporation also achieved remarkable success in the A-One grade. A total of 238 students received the A-One grade, bringing honor to the schools. Currently, 29 Suman High Schools are operational in various areas of Surat city, providing education in six languages, including Gujarati.
This year, the results across different mediums were also encouraging. The results by medium were as follows: Gujarati medium – 91.82%, Marathi medium – 93.71%, Hindi medium – 99.22%, Odia medium – 97.24%, Urdu medium – 74.83%, English medium – 87.26%. It is noteworthy that this year, the overall result of the Gujarat Secondary Education Board was 83.86%, while Surat district recorded a result of 86.04%.
In this context, the 92.60% result of Suman High Schools is considered particularly commendable. The school administration and teachers attributed this success to the hard work of the students, the support of parents, and the dedication of teachers, wishing all students a bright future.
