Washington, May 7. U.S. President Donald Trump stated that there have been good discussions with Iran regarding ending the war. Trump mentioned on Wednesday that in the last 24 hours, there have been very good talks with Iran about concluding the war that has been ongoing for more than two months. During an event at the White House, he noted that Iran wants to reach an agreement at any cost.
He indicated that they want to make a deal and that it is entirely possible that an agreement could be reached. Trump also remarked that if the U.S. were to leave Iran now, it would take the country 20 years to recover, as it had suffered significant damage from attacks by the U.S. And Israel on February 28.
