Vadodara: Divisional Railway Manager Raju Bhadke inspects Vadodara - Anand - Godhra section

 

On April 28, 2026, Divisional Railway Manager Raju Bhadke inspected the Vadodara - Anand - Godhra section. He reviewed the ongoing infrastructure development works at various stations in this section and instructed the concerned officials to complete them within the deadline.

As per agency report, Bhadke conducted a comprehensive safety inspection of the Karchiya yard with senior officials of the division. During this inspection, he observed the materials used in the top fittings of BTPN wagons and the personal protective equipment (PPE) being used by the staff. He emphasized the timely renewal of safety equipment and ensured adequate ORS facilities for employees, especially considering the summer season.

He reviewed the station upgrading plan with senior officials at Anand station and also inspected the yard modification work on the Anand - Godhra rail section. He assessed the progress of the commissioning work of the new loop line at Od and Dakor stations with senior officials. Divisional Railway Manager Bhadke also visited the TSPW siding of the Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited's Wanakbori Thermal Power Station, where he was informed by Chief Engineer P.B.

Patel about the operations of the wagon tippler and the ongoing renovation and modernization works of wagon tipplers 1 to 5 in the coal handling plant. A detailed discussion on the use and management of ash was also held during this visit. Bhadke inspected Godhra station and instructed officials to maintain cleanliness.

At Champaner Road station, he inquired about the progress of the goods platform being constructed for loading and unloading with the concerned officials. The Divisional Railway Manager directed all concerned officials to ensure safety, quality, and timeliness to make rail operations safer and more effective.
