A shocking murder case has emerged in the Godadara area of Surat, where a man killed his wife and concealed her body in a wooden box filled with cement. The gruesome incident came to light when the accused confessed to the crime in a note sent from his son's mobile phone.
According to reports, Pradeepbhai Kosta, a resident of Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh, attempted to contact his 39-year-old daughter Shilpa on April 21, but found her phone switched off. He then spoke to his son-in-law, Vishal Salvi, who provided misleading information, stating that Shilpa had not returned home. Suspecting foul play, the father arrived in Surat on April 24 and filed a missing person report.
The case took a dramatic turn when a note was sent to a family member from the mobile phone of Shilpa's 13-year-old son, in which the accused Vishal Salvi confessed to the murder and revealed the location of the body. Upon receiving the information, police and family members arrived at the scene, where a wooden box was found in an old house. Upon opening the box, the body wrapped in cement was recovered.
According to the police, a forensic post-mortem will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death based on the condition of the body. Currently, the accused Vishal Salvi is absconding, and police teams are continuously conducting raids in search of him. It is reported that Shilpa and Vishal were married in 2010 and have two children.
After the initial years, there were ongoing disputes between the couple. The police are now conducting a thorough investigation into the entire matter and have intensified efforts to apprehend the accused.
