A meeting of the women's unit of the Better Tomorrow Foundation was held at Canal Walkers in Vesu, Surat. The meeting was chaired by the foundation's founder president Rajesh Bharuka, with a large number of women members in attendance.
On this occasion, Rajesh Bharuka provided information about the foundation's objectives and activities, stating that the organization is continuously working to make the youth and women of Surat self-reliant and empowered. He mentioned that the foundation's goal is to advance every section of society towards a better future. He noted that the Better Tomorrow Foundation is currently working on five major projects, which include food service under 'Nar Seva Narayan Seva', providing employment by starting food stalls for the needy under the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' project, environmental protection through the 'One Tree in the Name of Mother' campaign, water service in poor settlements, and cow service.
During the meeting, the announcement of new office bearers for the women's unit in Surat was also made. Sunita Agarwal was appointed as chairperson, Tarun Vadhwani as president, Preeti Agarwal, Payal Joshi, and Hani Bhavanani as vice-presidents, Maya Balchandani as general secretary, Megha Purohit and Jiyara Vadhwani as ministers, Siya Bulchandani and Jiya Khurana as treasurers, and poet Sonal Jain as advisor.
At the end of the program, all newly appointed office bearers and present members took an oath to vote in the upcoming Surat Municipal Corporation elections. On this occasion, everyone resolved to advance social service and public awareness activities.
