As the date for the local self-government elections on April 26 approaches, the district election administration is intensifying its voter awareness campaign. In this context, the milk societies of Jamkandorna taluka in Rajkot have also played an active role in strengthening the democratic process.
Members of various milk societies in the taluka have appealed to voters to use their voting rights fearlessly. Additionally, they have taken an oath to vote in the elections without any fear or pressure. The Jamkandorna Cooperative Society has launched a unique initiative for voter awareness.
Under this initiative, members associated with the milk societies are not only becoming aware of voting themselves but are also inspiring other citizens. They are urging everyone to participate actively in the elections while conveying the message 'My Vote, My Right'.
Furthermore, voting-related messages are being printed on the slips given to members supplying milk, to raise awareness about the importance of voting at every level. This initiative is considered a significant step towards ensuring maximum participation in this festival of democracy.
