Trump Threatens Iran, Says 'We Will Destroy Every Power Plant and Bridge If They Don't Comply
U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened Iran again, accusing it of violating a ceasefire and stating that every power plant and bridge in the country will be destroyed if a deal is not reached.
Trump issued this threat on Sunday via Truth Social. He accused Iran of violating the ceasefire agreement, claiming that gunfire in Iran on Saturday completely disregarded the ceasefire agreement. He asserted that many of the shots were aimed at a French ship and a United Kingdom cargo vessel.
Additionally, Trump confirmed talks in Islamabad, stating that his representatives would visit Pakistan on Monday. He also mocked Iran's claim about closing the Strait of Hormuz, suggesting that it was strange since the strait was already closed due to the U.S. Blockade, which was causing Iran a daily loss of $500 million.
Trump mentioned that if a deal is not reached, he would take actions that previous U.S. Presidents have not taken against Iran in the last 47 years. The joint airstrike by Israel and the U.S. began on February 28, and a temporary ceasefire was announced on April 8. Following this, talks were held in Islamabad to find a permanent solution, which were inconclusive. Although there was no official announcement, local media reported that traffic in the red zone of Islamabad was halted in anticipation of the arrival of a foreign delegation, confirming Trump's post regarding Islamabad Talks 2.
