All maritime restrictions related to Iran now apply to ships from all countries coming to and from Iranian ports. The new restrictions in the Gulf are specifically being enforced on all major Iranian ports in the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. U.S.forces are supporting freedom of navigation for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz and heading to non-Iranian ports. U.S. navy ships are continuously patrolling the Gulf of Oman and strictly enforcing all regulations.

According to U.S. Central Command, the impact of the first 48 hours of the American blockade on Iranian ports has been profound. During these initial 48 hours, no ship has been able to breach the strict guard of U.S. forces stationed there. Following clear directives from U.S. forces, a total of nine ships have turned back towards any Iranian port or coastal area.

The 5,000 sailors and Marines of the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group are executing this critical mission to stop ships. American soldiers are present in this sensitive area with full vigilance and are prepared to handle any situation.

Meanwhile, CENTCOM is continuously enforcing the blockade in this maritime area while fulfilling its responsibilities. According to the White House, it is very clear that this strict naval blockade also applies to all foreign ships entering or leaving Iranian ports. U.S. navy personnel in the region are continuously fulfilling their important responsibility of patrolling without any interruptions. The main objective of these strict measures is to ensure that no ship can cross this blockade without permission. The strong resolve of military forces is evident in the current situation, as nine ships have had to change their direction.
