Surat: Komalben Bachkaniwala of Parmarth Foundation Celebrates Birthday by Serving Patients
Surat. Komalben Bachkaniwala, the head of the Parmarth Foundation, known for her selfless service in the city, celebrated her birthday this year in a unique and inspiring manner.
On the occasion of her birthday, she demonstrated her sensitivity towards society by serving patients at the Junni Civil Hospital. Toys were distributed to children admitted in the hospital's pediatric ward, bringing smiles to their faces. Additionally, sarees were gifted to the female cleaning staff who maintain cleanliness in the hospital premises, honoring their hard work.
Furthermore, fruits were distributed to all patients admitted in the hospital, and sarees were also provided to women patients in need. The hospital superintendent, Dr. Didita Shroff, mentioned that even in this modern era, the hospital is committed to providing better medical services.
She stated that 18 to 20 cataract surgeries are performed daily, and over 300 patients benefit from treatment in various OPDs. Iqbal Kadiwala from the nursing council noted that this old civil hospital, located in the heart of the city, serves as a beacon of hope for the common people. Such service activities boost the morale of patients.
He also mentioned that Komalben Bachkaniwala sets an example of social service by celebrating her birthday and other occasions with patients every year. On this occasion, Dr.
Omkar Chaudhary, the hospital's RMO, along with doctors and nursing staff, were also present. Komalben's initiative sends a powerful message of service and humanity in society.
