Prime Video Announces Season 5 of 'Panchayat' on Its 6th Anniversa

Mumbai, April 3 — Prime Video is celebrating the sixth anniversary of the launch of 'Panchayat' Season 1, which debuted on April 3, 2020. On this special occasion, the platform officially announced the start of shooting for the highly anticipated Season 5.

Since its debut in 2020, 'Panchayat' has remained one of India's most beloved series, captivating audiences with each season. Season 4, in particular, kept viewers engaged like never before. In its first month, Season 4 achieved record-breaking success, delivering the largest opening in the franchise's history during its launch week.

On its release day, Season 4 was trending in the 'Top 10' titles across more than 42 countries, including the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, and the UAE. During its launch week, it was viewed by audiences in 95 percent of India's pin codes and over 180 countries. This extraordinary love from fans has fueled the excitement for the new season, which promises a touching story and outstanding performances.

Following the intense climax of Season 4, fans are eagerly awaiting the return of their favorite characters in Phulera.
