BJP leaders congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 8931 days as head of government
New Delhi - Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 8931 days as the head of a government, describing his tenure as an exemplary model of service to the nation.
Taking to the social media platform X, BJP President Nitin Nabin stated that the 8931 days of public life of the Prime Minister is not merely a political journey but a symbol of dedication, sacrifice, and national service, as per agency report. He noted that as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, the leader presented a robust model of development and good governance, and after assuming the office of the Prime Minister, he provided a new direction to the country with an inclusive mantra focused on collective development, trust, and effort. Under his leadership, the nation has witnessed rapid infrastructure development, a digital revolution, and the implementation of numerous public welfare initiatives such as the Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and Prime Minister Awas Yojana, which have benefited millions of people.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah remarked that decades of service by the Prime Minister have ushered India into a new era. He highlighted the significant role played by the leader in securing rights for the poor, establishing new dimensions of development, and enhancing the global prestige of the country. He further added that serving the nation continuously for twenty-four years without taking a single day of leave reflects his profound commitment.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that the Prime Minister has now become the longest-serving head of a government in India. He mentioned that this milestone was achieved by surpassing the previous record of 8930 days held by former Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling. He added that the life of the Prime Minister stands as a testament to his dedication to the nation and its people.
Several other party leaders also shared posts expressing that global respect for India has grown under the current leadership and that the vision of a developed nation has transformed into a mass movement, calling this achievement highly inspiring.
Union Health Minister JP Nadda wrote on X that the leadership, efficiency, and resolve of the Prime Minister to advance the country serve as an inspiration for everyone. He emphasized that every decision and step taken by the Prime Minister has been guided by the spirit of putting the nation first, propelling India rapidly toward the goal of becoming a developed country. He also noted that the policies of the government have placed a special focus on the empowerment of the poor, youth, women, and farmers, thereby ensuring that every section of society receives the benefits of development.
