Vaibhav Maloo Says Scale Was the First Chapter Structure Is the Next

As Indian enterprises recalibrate amid tighter capital cycles and growing global uncertainty, a subtle but significant shift is underway. The startup decade was defined by speed — rapid scale, aggressive expansion and valuation milestones. The next chapter, says Vaibhav Maloo, will be defined by structure.

Maloo, Managing Director of Enso Group and Chairman of Enso Webworks, believes that the era of digital proliferation is giving way to digital coherence.

“Scale was necessary,” he notes, “but scale without integration creates fragility.”

Over the past several years, Indian businesses have adopted dozens of digital tools to manage identity, communication, storage and workflow. While this expansion accelerated productivity in the short term, it also led to fragmented systems and operational complexity. According to Maloo, the next phase of digital growth must prioritise interconnected architecture over isolated applications.

At Enso Webworks, this philosophy has translated into the development of a digitally interlinked ecosystem rather than standalone software products. Platforms such as InfoProfile, InfoPhone, InfoCalling and InfoDatabox are designed to function within a unified framework, where identity, communication and data flow seamlessly across systems.

The objective, Maloo says, is not to compete in a crowded app marketplace but to build foundational digital infrastructure “from India for the globe.” With users spanning Australia, Africa, the UAE and Europe, the company positions itself as part of a broader ambition — exporting structured digital frameworks rather than fragmented solutions.

Maloo argues that as capital becomes more disciplined, enterprises will reward platforms that reduce friction, enhance governance and strengthen digital trust. “The real opportunity now lies in integration,” he says. “Not in adding more tools, but in making them work together intelligently.”

For Maloo, structure is not a slowdown it is the evolution of scale. And as India’s digital ecosystem matures, the ability to consolidate momentum into durable systems may well define the country’s next growth cycle.
