Gujarat Education Board Announces Supplementary Exams for 12th Science in July

GUJARAT - The Gujarat Education Board, following the announcement of the class 10 and class 12 science results, has confirmed plans to conduct supplementary exams for class 12 science students in July. The decision aims to assist students who were unsuccessful in one or two subjects.

Class 12 science results revealed a state-wide pass percentage of 65.58%, while the class 10 pass rate stands at 64.62%. With students eagerly awaiting the release of class 12 general stream results, the Education Department has shifted focus to the supplementary examination process for science students.

Students wishing to sit the supplementary examinations will need to register online by June 5. The registration, which is mandatory, can be completed via the board's official website, http://Gseb.org.

Simultaneously, the Education Department has been tackling cases of exam malpractice. Only 60 students were caught by the flying squad initially put in place to combat misconduct. However, further investigations using classroom CCTV footage have identified additional instances of malpractice.

Students found guilty of misbehavior will have their results held in reserve. They will be issued a notice to appear before the Board's officials, and based on their explanation, disciplinary actions will be levied in accordance with the rules established by the Board of Education. The move aims to maintain the integrity of the examination process and ensure a fair environment for all students.
