Kisan Se Kitchen Tak: NAFED’s Strong Presence at IITF 2025 Wins Hearts and Markets

Kisan Se Kitchen Tak: NAFED’s Strong Presence at IITF 2025 Wins Hearts and Markets

At the bustling India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 in Bharat Mandapam, NAFED has emerged as one of the most engaging and impactful participants, bringing its vision of “Kisan Se Kitchen Tak” to life through a vibrant and informative pavilion.

The star of the pavilion this year is the impressive participation of NAFED-supported Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs). These farmer collectives are showcasing their finest produce—from pure honey and premium dry fruits to saffron, pickles, millet-based innovations, and regional delicacies. Their active presence highlights how NAFED is enabling farmers to build brands, access markets, and grow sustainably.

NAFED’s own diverse product portfolio is also a major draw. The shelves feature trusted consumer favourites such as pulses, spices, dry fruits, rice, and an expanding range of ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat items. The export section presents high-demand global offerings like frozen foods, protein bars, namkeens, and peanut butter—each reflecting NAFED’s focus on quality, nutrition, and affordability.

A standout experiential element is the NAFED Tea counter, where visitors gather to enjoy freshly brewed tea. This friendly corner has quickly become a hotspot, encouraging conversations and allowing visitors to connect with the brand in a warm, inviting setting.

Technology is another key theme at the pavilion. Through its IT section, NAFED is offering visitors a closer look at its modernisation efforts, especially the newly developed auction platform NAFEX.in. This platform underscores NAFED’s mission to bring transparency, efficiency, and digital innovation to agri-commodity trading.

The pavilion received a special boost with the visit of Shri Deepak Agarwal, IAS, Managing Director of NAFED. His interaction with FPOs, visitors, and staff members underscored the organisation’s commitment to continual innovation and strengthening market linkages for farmers.

With thousands of visitors appreciating the quality, diversity, and vision on display, NAFED’s participation at IITF 2025 stands as a powerful example of how cooperatives can drive national progress—uplifting farmers while delivering quality products to consumers. The pavilion not only informs and inspires but also celebrates India’s agricultural strength and NAFED’s role in nurturing it.
