Surat Diamond Merchant Revokes Public Challenge to Dhirendra Shastri Amidst Media Frenzy
Media Spotlight Prompts the Businessman to Retreat from His Diamond Counting Challenge to Spiritual Guru Dhirendra Shastri
In an unexpected twist, a diamond trader from Surat, who had publicly challenged spiritual guru Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham to divine the number of diamonds in a packet, has withdrawn his challenge, citing unmanageable media and public attention. The businessman, Janak Bawariya, had previously declared he would donate two crore worth of diamonds if Shastri was successful in meeting his challenge.
Bawariya has recently been avoiding media interactions, seeking to end the controversy generated by his public challenge. He has also issued a letter outlining his decision to withdraw the challenge.

Bawariya's initial challenge was delivered via a video posted on social media, in which he expressed his desire to meet Shastri during the spiritual guru's visit to Surat. He further proposed his challenge in the video, stating that if Shastri could publicly divine the number of diamonds in a packet held by Bawariya, he would accept Shastri's divine power. Furthermore, he pledged to present a gift of diamonds worth two crores to the guru.
Following this challenge, Bawariya found himself in the media limelight, with his challenge and interactions with the media being widely circulated. However, the attention has seemingly overwhelmed Bawariya, leading him to issue a letter in which he claims he has faced considerable mental stress due to the controversy surrounding his challenge to Shastri. As a result, Bawariya has decided to withdraw the challenge and seek an end to the matter. In his letter, he also mentions his plans to personally visit Dhirendra Shastri at Bageshwar Dham in Madhya Pradesh in the coming days.
