Nitish Kumar says Bihar voters have reaffirmed trust in his government as NDA heads for sweeping victory
Patna: Bihar Chief Minister and Janata Dal (United) president Nitish Kumar said on Friday that the people of the state have reaffirmed their faith in his government as the National Democratic Alliance moved towards a decisive victory in the Assembly elections. He expressed gratitude to voters and acknowledged the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and leaders of the alliance partners, as per agency report.
Nitish Kumar stated in a post on X that the citizens of Bihar had given the NDA a strong mandate in the 2025 Assembly elections, reflecting widespread confidence in his administration. He thanked all voters for their overwhelming support and extended his appreciation to the Prime Minister for his cooperation.
The JD(U) leader said that the NDA fought the elections with complete unity and secured a substantial majority. He conveyed his thanks to alliance partners Chirag Paswan, Jitan Ram Manjhi and Upendra Kushwaha for their contribution to the coalition’s success.
Nitish Kumar added that with the continued cooperation of all allies, Bihar would move ahead on the path of development and progress towards becoming one of the most advanced states in the country.
