Amitabh Bachchan shares cryptic post expressing concern over declining sense of responsibility
New Delhi: Actor Amitabh Bachchan shared a cryptic message on his official blog on Friday, remarking that there seems to be no morality or sense of responsibility left, only a pursuit of personal gain. The post, though strongly worded, did not mention anyone by name, as per agency report.
In his blog entry, the 83-year-old actor wrote that there is neither morality nor responsibility, only a means for private benefit without a moment’s concern, calling it disturbing and repulsive. He echoed a similar sentiment in another post on X, where he stated that there is no morality and no code of conduct.
Bachchan’s remarks come at a time when extensive media coverage has been focused on the health condition of veteran actor Dharmendra, his co-star from the film Sholay. Dharmendra was recently admitted to Breach Candy Hospital for tests and was discharged on Wednesday, after which he was taken home for further treatment.
Over the past few days, media personnel have been stationed outside the hospital and outside the residence of Dharmendra’s son, actor Sunny Deol, prompting the family to request privacy. On Thursday, Sunny Deol also expressed displeasure at photographers gathered outside his Juhu home.
