Surat, November 7 — The Federation of Surat Textile Traders Association (FOSTTA) had earlier proposed to the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) that yellow line markings be introduced on major roads across the textile market area to improve traffic regulation and ensure smoother movement.
as per agency report, representatives of FOSTTA and officials from the municipal corporation carried out a site inspection of the textile market area today to assess the existing traffic situation. During the visit, civic authorities assured that the marking work would begin soon to enhance traffic flow and maintain better parking discipline in the area.
FOSTTA has consistently maintained a cooperative approach with the administration and concerned departments to promote smooth business operations, convenient movement, and improved traffic discipline in the textile market. According to the federation, the yellow line marking system will play a key role in regulating unorganized parking, facilitating easier vehicle movement, and ensuring convenience for both traders and visitors.
The federation welcomed this initiative and expressed optimism that its timely implementation would help create a smooth, safe, and well-organized traffic environment in Surat’s textile market zone.
