Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘King’ to release in 2026
New Delhi, November 2 – Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s next film titled ‘King’ is set to hit theatres in 2026. The announcement was made by the makers on Sunday, coinciding with the actor’s 60th birthday.
As per agency report, the film is directed by Siddharth Anand, who earlier collaborated with Shah Rukh in the 2023 blockbuster ‘Pathaan’. The new project is being jointly produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. Along with the announcement, the makers released a title reveal video showing Shah Rukh in a fresh look with silver hair and intense action sequences, hinting at a high-octane thriller.
The production house shared the video on its official social media handle, describing the film as a grand action entertainer scheduled for a 2026 theatrical release. The cast also includes Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and actress Deepika Padukone.
Shah Rukh and Deepika have previously worked together in several successful films including ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Pathaan’, and ‘Jawan’, which released in 2023. The actor was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s film ‘Dunki’, co-starring Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani.
