1. A short brief about Duality
"Duality" is an art and poetry exhibition that reflects on how the world has changed from being pure and natural to being polluted and damaged. Through my pieces, I've tried to show the contrast between the earth that once existed, filled with clean air, green forests, and crystal clear water, and the earth we see today, covered in waste, plastic, and pollution. My goal is to make people stop and think about the impact of human actions on the environment. I want my exhibition to not only create awareness but also spark hope that we can still protect and restore the planet of we act responsibly.
2. How are you managing and balancing studies with art and poetry?
Balancing studies with art and poetry can be challenging, but I've learned to manage my time well my staying organized and setting priorities. I usually complete my school work first so that I can fully focus on my creative work later without stress. Art and poetry also help me relax and express my thoughts, so even though they require time, they actually make me more focused and creative in my academics too. My teachers and parents are very supportive, which helps me stay motivated and balance both worlds with passion and discipline.
3. In the era of technology you still opt for fine art? What is your opinion about it?
Yes, I still choose fine art even in today's digital age because I believe there's something very real and emotional about creating with your hands. Technology is amazing and useful, but fine art allows a deeper personal connection, every brushstroke, texture, and colour reflects a feeling that can't be replicated by a screen. I also think art is timeless, while technology changes, the message and emotion behind a piece of art remain forever. In "Duality", I used traditional art materials to remind people of the natural beauty that once existed before technology and industrialization took over.
4. We have seen Gen Z mostly involved in mobile and video games. Do you think excessive mobile phone usage creates negativity in Gen Z?
Yes, I do think excessive mobile phone usage can create negativity among Gen Z. Social media and games can be fun and creative in small amounts, but spending too much time on them disconnects us from the real world. It can make people feel pressured, distracted, and even less aware of important issues like climate change or environmental damage. I believe its important for our generation to use technology positively, to learn, create, and raise awareness, rather than let it control us. When we step away from screen, we connect more with nature, people, and ourselves, which makes us more mindful and creative.
5. What are your future plans?
In the future, I want to continue combining art, poetry, and environmental awareness. My dream is to study art and design while working on projects that inspire people to take care of the planet. I want to create more exhibitions like "Duality" that not only show the beauty of nature but also make people think about their role in protecting it. I hope to collaborate with organizations focused on sustainability and use my creativity to make a real difference in how people see the world.
