Salman Khan Addresses Rift with Arijit Singh and Reacts to Sikandar’s Failure on Bigg Boss

New Delhi, October 13: Popular reality show host Salman Khan candidly spoke about his alleged differences with singer Arijit Singh and reflected on the underperformance of filmmaker A. R. Murugadoss’s recent film Sikandar during an episode of Bigg Boss.

As per agency report, Salman clarified that there was never any real conflict between him and Arijit, describing the issue as a misunderstanding from his side. He said that Arijit had sung songs for his films Tiger 3 and the upcoming Galwan, reaffirming their cordial relationship. The misunderstanding reportedly dates back to a 2014 award ceremony, when Salman commented that Arijit appeared tired, prompting the singer to jokingly reply that he was bored because of him.

During the “Weekend Ka Vaar” segment, comedian Ravi Gupta asked Salman if there was any film he regretted doing. The actor mentioned his early 1992 releases Suryavanshi and Nishchay but defended Sikandar, directed by A. R. Murugadoss, which failed to perform well at the box office. Salman remarked that he did not regret doing any film in recent years and maintained that Sikandar had a good story, despite public perception.

The actor then took a humorous swipe at director Murugadoss, who had claimed in an interview that Salman often arrived late on set. Responding to this, Salman said he used to reach by 9 p.m., but at the time, he was dealing with a broken rib. He added with sarcasm that the director’s latest film featured an actor who now arrives as early as 6 a.m.

Concluding with a playful jab, Salman mentioned Murugadoss’s Tamil film Madarasi, calling it a huge movie and joking that it was an even bigger “blockbuster” than Sikandar. His remarks combined humor and honesty, addressing old controversies while offering an introspective look at his career and relationships in the industry.
