Surat – The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) has taken a new initiative to promote the modeling talent of Surat and South Gujarat. The Chamber will organize a grand fashion show and catalog release in January 2026 with the aim of providing a professional platform and recognition to local models and creative youth.
As per report, SGCCI President Nikhil Madrasi stated that there is immense potential for modeling in Surat’s key industries such as diamonds, textiles, and real estate. However, external models have so far received more preference in these sectors. He emphasized that Surat has no shortage of exceptional local talent, but the lack of proper opportunities has kept them from reaching their full potential. The upcoming event is intended to empower such individuals and help them connect with the professional industry network.
