Surat. A delegation from the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) conducted an industrial visit to Cello World Limited near Vapi and Ultra Denim Limited in Palsana, aiming to enhance members’ understanding of modern manufacturing and innovation practices.
As per report, the delegation included former SGCCI president Ramesh Vaghasia, Industrial Visit Committee chairman Arvind Babawala, co-chairman and Industrial Safety Committee chairman Chetan Seth, Aviation Committee chairman Linesh Shah, and several senior members of the Chamber.
SGCCI president Nikhil Madrasi stated that the purpose of the visit was to provide chamber members with firsthand exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies, quality management systems, and innovation-driven production methods.
Cello World Limited, a leading manufacturer in the segments of household consumer products, stationery, and molded furniture, familiarized the delegation with its production processes for glassware, melamine, and porcelain products. Members also toured various units of the company and observed its production and operational setup.
The delegation further visited Ultra Denim Limited in Palsana, one of Surat’s leading denim fabric and apparel manufacturing units. The company’s technical team explained the detailed processes of fabric production, finishing, and design development.
According to the visiting members, the industrial tour proved to be a significant and inspiring initiative, promoting knowledge exchange and fostering industrial growth within the South Gujarat region.
