Fashion show in Surat spreads breast cancer awareness, cancer warriors walk the ramp with confidence

Surat, October 6. The Breast Cancer Awareness Group (B-CAG) organized a unique fashion show on Sunday at Panchvati Hall, Maharaja Agrasen Palace, City Light. The event saw cancer warriors walking the ramp with confidence, winning the hearts of the audience. Doctors and women entrepreneurs also joined them on stage, adding to the inspiring atmosphere of the show.

As per report, B-CAG head Poonam Parashar, a breast cancer survivor herself, explained that the aim of the event was to bring joy to cancer warriors and spread awareness about breast cancer in society. She highlighted that breast cancer is often diagnosed late, and its expensive treatment affects families physically, mentally and financially. Many women hesitate to talk about the disease, which often leads to diagnosis at advanced stages.

The event was graced by Police Commissioner Anupam Gehlot as the chief guest, with special guests including Anil Gupta, Arpit Shah, Pukhraj Agarwal, Deepak Choksi, former Textile Minister Darshanaben Jardosh, fashion designers Aastha Arora and Tina Ranka. The show was conducted by lifestyle expert Dr. Mukesh Parashar.

B-CAG continues its efforts throughout the year by organizing workshops, seminars and free check-up camps to engage more women in its breast cancer awareness campaigns.
