Mumbai – Actress Shilpa Shetty, known not only for her film career but also for her healthy lifestyle and positive outlook, once again emphasized the importance of fitness through yoga. On Monday, she shared a post on social media showcasing how yoga can significantly improve flexibility and overall strength.

In her Instagram post, Shetty explained that yoga helps in loosening the lower body muscles, particularly targeting the hips, hamstrings, inner thighs, and groin. She highlighted that regular practice of specific yoga poses makes everyday movements like bending and squatting easier. She also pointed out that yoga reduces stiffness in the hips, enhances blood circulation in the ankles and knees, and strengthens pelvic muscles. Additionally, it improves balance, stability, and strengthens the core, contributing to better control of the body.

As per agency report, Shetty posted a video of herself performing yoga, urging followers to stay mindful and present while on the yoga mat. She captioned her post with the reminder that the practice is about being in the moment rather than rushing through exercises.

This is not the first time the actress has used her platform to share fitness tips. Earlier, she had posted a video demonstrating cardio workouts, including jumping jacks, standing crunches, and Zumba, stressing that staying fit should never be boring. She captioned that video with a note that burning calories can be fun, while also benefiting the lungs and aiding fat loss.
