Surat – Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) organized a grand launch of its two latest models, the Honda CB 125 Hornet and the Honda Shine 100 DX, at the renowned VR Mall in Surat. The launch ceremony was graced by the presence of HMSI Zonal Manager Navneet Kaushal, Sales Area Incharges Dhananjay Dwivedi and Rajat Tiwari, and Service Area Incharge Shahid Kashli. The event saw large participation from Surat's leading Honda dealers, motorcycle enthusiasts, and a wide range of customers.
Navneet Kaushal highlighted that Surat is currently Honda’s strongest market, contributing to nearly 50% of its regional market share. He reaffirmed Honda's long-term commitment to delivering innovation, quality, and reliable service to customers in Surat.
The newly launched Honda CB 125 Hornet is a premium 125cc streetfighter designed especially for the youth. It has been built with a focus on both style and performance. Key highlights of this model include golden USD forks—offered for the first time in this segment, a sporty tank-mounted key ignition system, a TFT digital meter providing modern interface and complete ride information, and the inclusion of a mono-shock rear suspension with single-channel ABS for enhanced comfort and safety.
The Honda Shine 100 DX, a highly reliable commuter bike, now comes with upgraded features aimed at daily riders. It offers excellent performance, mileage, and style, making it even more desirable. The Shine 100 DX is equipped with a clear digital meter, 5-step adjustable rear suspension for a smooth ride, an impressive mileage of 70 km/l, and attractive chrome plating for a stylish look.
Customer feedback also added value to the event, with local rider Akash Kandoriya sharing his satisfaction with the CB 125 Hornet. He expressed that the bike impressed him with its looks, comfort, and tested mileage of around 65 km/l, which is commendable for a 125cc engine.
