Surat – Ahead of the arrival of Lord Ganesha, the Kesariya Ganesh Samiti Group organised a grand Bhoomi Pujan ceremony at the Surat Municipal Corporation Party Plot in Parvat Patiya (behind the CNG pump, opposite Rudramani Avenue). The event witnessed the presence of a large number of devotees from the committee.
As per agency report, the ceremony was held in preparation for the installation of Lord Ganesha’s idol on August 17. Alongside the rituals, devotees also discussed cleanliness and decoration plans for the venue to ensure a grand celebration.
A special highlight of the event was that the Bhoomi Pujan was performed by elderly residents with intellectual disabilities from a local old age home, adding a unique emotional touch to the occasion. Following the rituals, prasad was distributed among those present.
Kesariya Ganesh Samiti Group president Pintu Singh, along with Ashutosh Patel, Brijesh Pal, Pintu Pal, Ramesh Singh Thakur, Mehul Narola, Tarun Rawal, Yuvraj Singh Vaghela, Amit Gajera, Sanjay Singh Rajput, Yogesh Jaiswal, Suraj Singh, and Lal Bahadur Singh, attended the event.
