Gujarat: Ahmedabad Youth Killed by Car, Over Four Individuals Captured in CCTV Footage
Ahmedabad, Gujarat: A recent surge in murders over trivial matters has been reported in the city of Ahmedabad. The latest incident involves a young man named Alpesh Rabari, who was killed after an argument escalated to violence near Parth Hospital in the Paldi area. According to the police, four individuals attacked Rabari and ran him over with a car, resulting in his death.
The authorities have obtained CCTV footage of the incident and have initiated an investigation.
Alpesh Rabari, the deceased, hailed from Por village in Gandhinagar but was living in the Paldi area. He was reportedly engaged in a dispute with the four individuals near the Martyr's Memorial close to Parth Hospital. As the argument turned violent, Rabari was beaten by the group and subsequently struck by their car, which led to his immediate death.
DCP Zone-7 Bhagirath Singh Jadeja, along with PI Chetaria, the in-charge of Paldi, rushed to the scene as soon as they were informed of the incident. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) dog squad has also been engaged in the investigation. The police have secured CCTV footage of the episode and are using it to aid their ongoing inquiries.
DCP Bhagirath Singh Jadeja confirmed that the murder was a result of an old feud, leading to the brutal killing of 32-year-old Alpesh Rabari. The police have identified the alleged perpetrators and are currently conducting a manhunt to apprehend those responsible for the young man's death. The investigation is ongoing.
