Rajkot, July 19 – In the recently announced results of Swachh Survekshan 2024, Jasdan Municipality from Rajkot district has achieved remarkable success by securing the first position in the category of small towns with a population between 20,000 and 50,000.
As per agency report, Jasdan ranked 138th among 1,585 municipalities at the national level and secured the 50th spot among 74 municipalities within Gujarat. This notable achievement reflects the collective efforts and dedication of the residents, municipal administration, and sanitation workers.
Under the leadership of Chief Officer Rajubhai Sheikh, the team comprising Sanitation Inspector Pratapbhai Solanki, City Manager (IT) Rakeshbhai Bathwar, City Manager (SWM) Rajeshbhai Bavaliya, and the entire sanitation department worked diligently to meet all the parameters laid out in the 2024 cleanliness survey.
Chief Officer Rajubhai Sheikh congratulated all the employees and citizens of Jasdan for this success, stating that the town has truly lived up to the motto of “Cleanliness and Dignity.” He emphasized that the recognition is a symbol of dedication, active participation, and growing awareness toward cleanliness within the community.
