Abhishek Bachchan Completes 25 Years in Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan Pens Emotional Tribute

Mumbai, July 19 – Actor Abhishek Bachchan recently marked 25 years in the Hindi film industry, a milestone that brought an emotional response from his father and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. In a heartfelt blog post, Amitabh reflected on his son's journey and offered words of deep admiration and encouragement.

Amitabh described life as a continuous lesson in resilience, underscoring that the essence of living lies in never giving up. He emphasized the importance of perseverance, stating that whether one wins or loses, the real achievement lies in standing one's ground and fighting the battle. As per agency report, Amitabh praised Abhishek for consistently measuring his progress against his own standards rather than comparing himself to others—something he believes not everyone is capable of doing.

He noted that a person who loses yet displays courage and determination often commands greater respect than a so-called winner. Such individuals are remembered not for the outcome but for the fact that they came close to victory through sheer willpower. According to him, this type of struggle is a more significant accomplishment than commercial success.

Commenting on Abhishek’s two-and-a-half-decade career, Amitabh highlighted that 25 years in any field is no small feat. He reiterated that comparing oneself with others is a sign of weakness and reiterated that Abhishek’s inward-looking journey is something to be admired.

He also emphasized that the learning process never ends, sharing his personal belief that even he continues to learn each day. He added that despite being advised to rest after accomplishing so much, he believes stopping is equivalent to defeat in life. The mantra of "never give up," he explained, is not just a phrase but a mindset that shapes the journey to success.

Amitabh concluded that life is filled with challenges and setbacks, but it is those who confront these obstacles head-on who truly rise. Every fall is a lesson, and each challenge is a test of inner strength.

Abhishek Bachchan began his Bollywood career in the year 2000 with J.P. Dutta's film Refugee, which also marked the debut of actress Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film tells the story of a Muslim man who helps refugees cross the India-Pakistan border. It also featured prominent actors like Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles.
