Surat – The Women’s Wing of the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) organized an industrial visit to Green Lab Diamond LLP with the objective of empowering women entrepreneurs by exposing them to emerging technologies and modern industrial processes. The visit aimed to help them adapt to the rapidly evolving business landscape and remain competitive in the marketplace.
Led by SGCCI Women’s Wing President Mayuriben Mevawala and Vice President Alpaben Madrasi, over 50 women entrepreneurs participated in the visit. According to Mevawala, the tour provided invaluable hands-on exposure to cutting-edge manufacturing techniques, innovative technologies, and strategic business perspectives that participants can implement in their own ventures.
Representatives from Green Lab Diamond LLP offered the visiting entrepreneurs a comprehensive overview of the lab-grown diamond production process, quality control methods, and the increasing global demand for CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) diamonds. The women observed live operations on advanced machinery, gaining direct insights into the modern industrial ecosystem and export-oriented production strategies.
A moment of pride was shared among the participants upon learning that the diamonds embedded in the grand golden crown of Shri Ram Lalla at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya were produced at Green Lab Diamond LLP. This recognition underscored Surat’s contribution to both technological innovation and cultural heritage, elevating the city’s standing on the national stage.
