President Droupadi Murmu Attends Special Screening of ‘Tanvi the Great’; Anupam Kher Calls It a Proud Moment

New Delhi, July 12 – Veteran actor and filmmaker Anupam Kher has described the special screening of his upcoming film Tanvi the Great at Rashtrapati Bhavan as a proud and unforgettable moment. The screening, held on Friday, was attended by President Droupadi Murmu along with the film’s star cast, including Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Karan Tacker, and lead actress Shubhangi Dutt.

Anupam Kher, who has directed the film and also plays a key role, shared photographs from the event on Instagram. In his post, he wrote, “It was a proud moment for us when the President of India and the Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces watched our film and appreciated it. As a director, to receive such recognition from the highest office in the country is a dream come true. This is truly a ‘pinch-me’ moment.”

As per agency report, actor Boman Irani also expressed his emotions on social media, calling the occasion a “humbling and proud moment” for the entire Tanvi the Great team. “When the President of the nation watches and praises your film, it reminds you why we do what we do. Thank you @AnupamKherSir for making us part of this unforgettable journey,” Irani wrote.

Tanvi the Great features Shubhangi Dutt in the lead role, with an ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani, Pallavi Joshi, Karan Tacker, and Ian Glen. The story and direction are credited to Anupam Kher, while the film has been jointly produced by Anupam Kher Studios and the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC).

The film is scheduled for theatrical release on July 18. The special presidential screening has added a prestigious milestone to the film’s journey, heightening expectations ahead of its release.
